· Equipment Reimbursement Policy · The Vision and Learning in Humans and Machines IGERT provides a $2,000 equipment allowance to each fellow in the program. The purpose of this allowance is to help support research and ease in writing papers. Each fellow will be reimbursed up to the $2,000 maximum for the following categories of equipment: personal computer, digital camera, or video camera. Reimbursement for any other type of equipment will require approval from the IGERT program prior to purchase. Trainees whose fellowship is limited to one year must return all of the equipment purchased at the conclusion of their affiliation with the IGERT program. Trainees who complete two full years as an IGERT fellow are welcome to keep their equipment until they leave UCSD. Equipment can be turned in at any time, should the trainee no longer require it. To receive reimbursement for qualified equipment, submit a copy of your purchase receipt(s) to Beverley Walton (bwalton[at]cogsci.ucsd.edu).
