Cogs 160 Grading Policy
- Discussion leading (20%): one week (two lectures) a quarter,
sign up on wiki
- An alternative to discussion leading (20%), since we have
more students than weeks in the quarter, is that you propose and
create a wiki page on a topic related to the class, with text,
images, references, and movies (as needed). It should have
style and quality appropriate for submitting to Wikipedia (so it
should not be redundant with existing Wikipedia material).
Proposals must be pre-approved by Prof. Yu, and submitted by
Friday 04/22. The wiki page itself is due on Friday 05/27 at
the latest. Inclue motivation and relevance to course material,
as well as a detailed outline, in the proposal. Please take your
name off of the discussion leading schedule if you choose this
option.
