Get involvedWe are always looking for people interested in participating in experiments. If you would like to take part in research conducted by our lab, please contact the lab researchers.
We also have room for new research students. Exceptional graduate students in Cognitive Science, Linguistics, or allied fields (including, but not limited to Psychology, Neuroscience, and Computer Science) can contact Ben Bergen to find out more. For information about admission to the UCSD Cognitive Science department, see here.
Undergraduates interested in learning about how laboratory research is conducted through hands-on experience can participate in Language and Cognition Lab research as undergraduate research assistants, through Cognitive Science 160 or 199. See the description here.
We hold weekly lab meetings, jointly with the Embodied Cognition Lab and the Brain and Cognition Lab. Meetings include talks by guest speakers and local researchers, as well as methods tutorials and discussions of work in progress. If you're interested in attending, please contact the Spring 2011 organizer, Esther Walker (email@example.com).
